You can see and look for permissions in the “Permission” sub-box. At present, the number of permissions which are open to the public are several hundred. Generally speaking, the definitions of these permissions are basic and considerable with detailed functions. It is not easy for end users to understand. However, it is very helpful to know this if fairly-detailed roles or users are to be customized. It is not possible to delete, change, or add permission, as it is predefined by 2BizBox developers.
Click the “All Permission” button in the “Security Box-Permission” interface to see all permissions in the system. The ID of permissions is English, such as “ACCOUNTING_INFO;” while the description on the permission explains the details of the permission, like “ACCOUNTING INFO.” “Related Role” can be clicked in the permission list to see all roles with this permission; “Related User” can be clicked to see all users with this permission.
Every function in 2BizBox has been defined, so it can be quite detailed. The “roles” predefined in 2BizBox according to boxes can be directly used to satisfy daily requirements. If there is the need to customize role permissions, make sure that the permission of key operations have been set in order to avoid the revealing of company secrets, such as downloading design drawings, seeing systematic journals, creating users, seeing financial information, and adjusting warehouse cost.
New permissions will be continually released in 2BizBox to provide a better user experience and a more comprehensive business management for users. For example, two new permissions have been added into 2BizBox in the latest edition: to see warehouse cost and to see sale price.
“VIEW_INVENTORY_COST” is the ID of the permission, which, as its names reveals, means seeing warehouse cost, and it belongs in the Accounting Box. You can search for the permission in the permission-searching interface. The average cost and standard cost of components cannot be seen without that permission, including related data like final purchasing cost. A “No Permission” message will be displayed in the cost of warehouse components.
“No permission” will also appear in cost in other interfaces relating to cost.
“VIEW_SALES_PRICE,” as the name implies, refers to the permission to “See Sales Price.” In many companies, the sales price of components cannot be seen by non-salespersons, so the permission to see it has been set in the Sales Box. The price of components cannot be seen without that permission.
