16.7 Manufacturer

Manufacturer refers to a party who manufactures components, so it can also be a vendor at the same time. You can create a manufacturer address book for components and the source of material purchased to record the original manufacturing information in the sub-box “Manufacturer.” In the manufacturing address book, you can add a series of information like index for manufacturing components.

16.7.1 Add Manufacturers

Click “Add Manufacturers” in the “Manufacturer-General” interface to enter the manufacturer-adding interface.

Insert the index and the name of the manufacturer and click “Add” to enter the interface to update the information of the manufacturer.

Manufacturer is used to identify the manufacturer’s information, which has no direct business relations with us, so the information in the “Update” interface of a manufacturer is quite simple, including the basic information of the manufacturer, description in languages, and contact information. Basic information involves the address and contact and address of the manufacturers, which can be described in several languages. The address, information like position and mobile phone number can be filled in the “Contact” interface. After entering the information, click “Update” to will return to the “Manufacturer-General” interface.

After that, you can add the corresponding manufacturer information for components when updating them. Click the button “All parts for this manufacturer” to view a list of all components of the manufacturer. You must still add manufacturer information to them.  

16.7.2 Look up & Search Manufacturers

16.7.2.1 2Lookup Manufacturer

Fill in the Manufacturer ID to open the manufacturer’s properties.

16.7.2.2 2Search Manufacturer by ID

Fill in the key word of the Manufacturer ID to search for all related manufacturers.

16.7.2.3 2Search by Name

Fill in the key word of the manufacturer’s name to search for all related manufacturers.

 16.7.2.4  All Manufacturer

Click the button to view all manufacturers in the system.

16.7.2.5 Inactive Manufacturer

To inactive a manufacturer, click the “Inactivate” button in the Manufacturer’s property interface to inactivate a manufacturer. 

After this, you can also click the “Activate” button to reactivate a manufacturer.
