11.5 Manufacturing RFQ

A Manufacturing RFQ is the RFQ that occurs during the manufacturing process. It is easy to understand MRFQs if you’ve read the previous chapter about MPOs. Similar to an RFQ, an MRFQ can be copied to a PO, and used in the 2BizBox VG Box.

11.5.1 Add MRFQ

You can add an MRFQ by clicking the “2Add MRFQ” button under the “General” tab: 

An MRFQ can also be created from a specific Vendor:

Choose a Vendor or fill in the Vendor, then click “2Add” to create an MRFQ, and open the “Update MRFQ interface,” shown below. An MRFQ is also very similar to an RFQ, except that you can only add Tools to an MRFQ item.

The following steps of the MRFQ are the same as the steps for an RFQ. Refer to the Chapter “Request For Quote” in the “Purchasing Box” for more detailed information.

11.5.2 Create MPO from MRFQ

At the bottom of the MRFQ interface, click “2Make PO” to create an MPO from this MRFQ.

MRFQ Check List

Click this button to view all MRFQs that are not approved. At the search results, click the “Approve” button at the end of each line to approve the MRFQ.

This the basic function to look up an MRFQ. Input an accurate MRFQ# and click this button to open MRFQ Properties. 

2Search MRFQ

This is the basic function to search for an MRFQ by MRFQ#. Input keywords of the MRFQ# and click this button to search for related MRFQs.

2Search MRFQ by Tool #

This is the function to search for an MRFQ by Tool Number.

Past Due MRFQs

Click this button to list all MRFQs that are past due their ship date.

Open MRFQs

Click this button to list all OPEN MRFQs.
