11.1 Overview

The Manufacturing Box of 2BizBox ERP provides basic data preparation and management for manufacturing activities. It covers Tool Management (including tool purchasing and engineering changes), Setup for Work Center and Work Instruction, Equipment Calibration, and Engineering BOM. 

Tool Master

The Tool Master manages manufacturing accessory equipment like cutters and tongs. Tools, as a special type of Parts, also have a BOM and inventory. You can upload drawings and set up Work Instructions for Tools. 

Manufacturing RFQ and Purchasing

RFQ and Purchasing for Tools are processed in the Manufacturing Box, so that you can give separate permissions to shop floor workers. 

 Manufacturing ECN & ECR

Engineering Change Notices and Requests for Tools are separate. Here, design and improve Tools under the standard quality criteria.

Equipment Management & Calibration

Keep a record of the manufacturing and cost of your equipment here, as well as the maintenance and calibration of time details.

Work Instruction, Work Center and Mfg Time System

Work Instruction defines the processing method of parts and the Work Center is the processing resource. With WI & WO details, Time system can record the part processing time and labor & machine cost.
