8.1 Overview

For the sales department, clear orders and convenient queries are the basic conditions to complete sales tasks; for other departments, sales provide the production and procurement requirements of a company. Closely related to financial and inventory statements, sales orders are also particularly important among the various departments. The sales department is the source of funds to protect the healthy development of an enterprise. The Sales Module, as a means of enterprise information management, will bring more convenience to the sales department, while providing a variety of analysis, management capabilities all the while improving sales performance. In this sense, the sales module is not just about the management of sales documents, but it should also efficiently incorporate and record customers, sales price, the terms of the contract, information statements, and other content. The 2BizBox sales module is designed based on this concept.

The 2BizBox ERP sales module covers the full set of business processes, from quotes, orders, shipments, and invoicing to the after-sales, used for day-to-day sales management, price management and customer management. It can also generate a variety of reports to analyze sales breakdown.

 The Sales Box gives flexibility in quotes, orders, invoicing, customer returns, customer refunds and accepting customer payments.

You will see the following functions in this chapter.

Create quotations with complete information, sales orders, and RMA (Return Material Authorization) orders, and provide a variety of methods for looking up orders. 

The unique CG module allows customers and distributors to perform online inquiries and get quote information, view parts to create purchase orders, send customer service incidents and get feedback, and create a unique equipment and sales catalog for customers. 

By setting customer contract prices, the discount code to realize sales price management, while creating sales orders, discount information will be linked automatically. You can add discount information for distributors and salespeople through the “sales code.” 

Sales contracts, additional agreements, and other documents can be uploaded to the system in the form of sales documents. Quote/Sales Order Terms templates are used for additional general terms of quotation/sale contracts to be unified management. 

2BizBox provides a variety of methods to look up sales orders, sales orders statistics, sales order expiration, billing, gross profit, on time delivery rate and other information. Sales charts can also be generated in the system.

Before using the sales module, it is important to be familiar with the customer information in the address module. The customer sub-module in the address module not only records addresses of customers, but it also includes intercom, freight, tax rates, price discounts and other important information. Preset customer information will be automatically linked into documents, quotations, and sales orders, which will assist in creating sales orders more easily.
