6.8 Traceable

Traceable, refers to a part’s criticality categories and quality specifications that have traceable requirements, like pressure containing, major load bearing, temperature standing, etc. For parts with traceable requirements, relavant testings and certifications should be provided before delivery. 

6.8.1 Traceable Requirements

By default, five default criticality categories and twelve quality specifications are predefined in the system. You can click “2Search Categories and Specifications” to view these requirements.

Both of the requirements can be deleted, editted or added in this interface. Click “2Add” to open the adding window of a category or specification. Select a line, you can delete or edit it accordingly.

6.8.2 Part Traceable Setting

To set a part’s traceable requirements, you can input the Part# and Part Type at “Traceable” box under the “General” tab of “Traceable” sub module. Then click “Set Part Traceable” button to open the “Set Part Traceable” interface.

Another way to do traceable setting is at the Part Master Properties interface. For a part without traceable requirements, click the “+” button beside “Traceable” to open the setting interface:

For a part with traceable requirements, you can click the link to open its traceable page and update it.

With any one of the above methods, you will open the Set Part Traceable interface, in which you can check the part’s requirements. In addition, a “Traceable level” is also required to indicate the part’s critical level. When you finish, click “2Update” to submit.

6.8.3 Look Up & Search Traceable

6.8.3.1 Look up Traceable by PN

Input a part number and click the button to lookup the part’s traceable requirements. 

6.8.3.2 Search Traceable by PN

Search part’s traceable requirements by the keywords of the part number.

6.8.3.3 2Search Traceable by Conditions

Search part’s traceable requirements by part#, part type, traceable level, category ID, and specification ID.
